Agape Pregnancy Center has served Des Moines and the surrounding area for over 35 years, offering education and quality services to help our clients make informed decisions.

Current Material Needs

All items must be new, including donations to the boutique & hygiene pantry. Walmart gift cards are used to buy new cribs, strollers, and car seats for clients. Walmart gift cards can be donated in any amount. Every client is given the opportunity to earn and spend their store dollars after taking classes at the Agape location. All items are purchased and donated by people just like you! Items not listed on our wish lists are not needed at this time. Donations are accepted during normal business hours.

Volunteer your time

We’re always looking for servant-minded people to volunteer at Agape, and are particularly in need of Spanish-speaking volunteers. Please review the opportunities below and click the “I’m interested” button to complete a very brief interest form.

PROPERTY/GROUNDS PROJECTS

We always are needing individuals who desire to assist with property upkeep. This could be our 2 times a year exterior cleanup projects, routine maintenance, routine groundskeeping needs, or deep cleaning of our two buildings monthly. A small group project or a family project – either way, we would love for you to get involved!

PATIENT ADVOCATE

Assists with client interaction and support in the clinical building. Each individual must commit to a standing 4-hour shift on the same day and time between the days of Monday-Thursday.

CLIENT EDUCATOR

Assists clients in setting personal goals and teaching/supporting them in obtaining the education and resources they need in reaching their goals. Each individual must commit to a standing 4-hour shift on the same day and time between the days of Monday-Thursday.
