Freedom can be Found

Day 3

Freedom can be Found

By Leanna Simpson
Romans 8:1 – There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

The Lenten season is an intentional time of thoughtful reflection on the power of Jesus’ life, death, burial, and resurrection. As we prepare for Easter, we take time to examine our lives, repent, and surrender to His ongoing work in our lives. We step into a timely reflection of experiencing God’s mercy and forgiveness.

Our daily work at AGAPE is weighed with increased anticipation. Our fervent prayers continue for every person who walks through our doors to experience true freedom through the power of Jesus Christ.

When Ben walked through our doors, he was nervous and scared. Was he ready to be a father? Inside our counseling room, he started to sob. “He is here, isn’t He?” he said. “Who is here?” we asked. “The man named Jesus Christ. He is here. I can feel Him. I met Him once when I was deep in addiction. He just won’t seem to let me go.”

Revelation 3:20: Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.

We sit and pray, “Lord, don’t let him go. Never, ever let him go. Wrap Your arms around him. Let him know Your love, Your peace, Your hope.”

That is our prayer for you today: listen to His voice. Open the door to Jesus like never before. May you find renewed freedom in His name, His presence, and His power in your life.
