At AGAPE, we rejoice in our ability to celebrate the men we are blessed to serve.<\/p>\n

We are honored to support, advocate, come alongside, and affirm that fathers are not only worthy of celebration, but pivotal to the stability of their families.<\/b><\/p>\n

Many places serve the same clients as AGAPE and focus almost entirely on the woman \u2014 her\u00a0choice<\/i>, her next step. And while that matters, it\u2019s not the whole story.<\/p>\n

In conversations around pregnancy, men are often treated as background characters \u2014 present, but not central. Expected to either step up or fade out of the picture.<\/p>\n

But what we know to be true is that men are essential leaders in pregnancy and parenting decisions.\u00a0Studies show that a father\u2019s practical and emotional support significantly shapes whether a woman continues or ends a pregnancy.<\/b><\/p>\n

Many of the men connected to the women we serve are navigating their own uncertainty. Some didn\u2019t grow up with a model of what it means to be a father. Some are carrying their own stories of instability, absence, or pain. And many of them, if they\u2019re honest, feel completely unprepared for what\u2019s in front of them.<\/p>\n

And yet, they matter. Not just in principle, but in the everyday reality of what happens next for the family.<\/p>\n

We sat with a young couple not long ago \u2014\u00a0*Marcus and Tiana<\/i>. Tiana came in first, overwhelmed and unsure of what to do. A few appointments in, Marcus started accompanying her.<\/p>\n

At first, he didn\u2019t say much. He sat quietly, listening, trying to take it all in. But over time, something began to shift. As our fatherhood director made space for him \u2014 not as an afterthought, but as someone we genuinely wanted to know \u2014 he started to engage.<\/p>\n

He asked questions.<\/p>\n

He opened up about his fears.<\/p>\n

He began to talk about the kind of father he wanted to be, even though he wasn\u2019t sure how to get there.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s where our work really began:\u00a0not just supporting Tiana in her pregnancy, but walking with Marcus as he stepped into something he had never seen modeled.<\/b><\/p>\n

This is why Fatherhood is not an \u201cextra\u201d for us at AGAPE; it\u2019s essential.<\/p>\n

When a father is engaged, supported, and growing, it changes the trajectory of a family. It brings stability where there might otherwise be turbulence. It brings presence where there might otherwise be distance.<\/p>\n

But even more than that, it speaks to something deeper:\u00a0an identity<\/b>.<\/p>\n

For many of the men we meet, stepping into fatherhood is not just about learning skills or gaining information. It\u2019s about beginning to see themselves differently; not as someone outside of a story, but as someone entrusted with meaningful, substantial purpose.<\/p>\n

And again, this is where our faith shapes everything we do.<\/p>\n

Scripture shows us a God who reveals Himself as Father; not distant, not disengaged, but\u00a0present, consistent, and faithful<\/b>. A Father who pursues, who provides, who restores. For men who have never experienced that kind of fatherhood \u2014 or who feel like they\u2019ve already fallen short \u2014 that truth matters.<\/p>\n

It means their story isn\u2019t defined by what they\u2019ve seen or what they\u2019ve done.<\/p>\n

It means there is an invitation to grow, to step in, to become something new.<\/p>\n

And we have the privilege of walking with them in that process.<\/p>\n

Many assume our work is primarily about women. In many ways, that\u2019s where the story begins, but it doesn\u2019t end there!<\/p>\n

Every pregnancy involves a father.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

And when we choose to invest in him \u2014 to see him, to support him, to call him forward \u2014 we\u2019re not just impacting one person. We\u2019re\u00a0strengthening an entire family<\/b>.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the work in front of us. Not just responding to a moment, but helping shape what comes next: for the moms, dads, and the families they are becoming.<\/p>\n

Thank you for your part in supporting fathers. There is no greater work than aligning leadership to our Heavenly Father’s great design.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t
